Did anyone else get a free subscription to Imagine magazine today? We just got a free trial in the mail, and a card to send in to get a free subscription. Here's the 411-
It's a regular sized mag, but has few pages (24). The intro page says, " Dear Reader, We've created a magazine just for you and your doll. Each issue will be filled with the things you two love the best: mini crafts, doll hairstyles, behind-the-scenes visits to a doll hospital, and lots of new ways to spend time together. Best of all we're showing off the photos and sharing the memories you make together!
There are pictures of girls with their dolls in matching outfits, a Let's Play- fun and games section, an ad for the Felicity movie, a list of names and what they mean, craft ideas for hair accessories for your doll, take a quiz and find out which AG you are most like, a coloring page where you design an outfit, a short interview with a woman who works at AG, an ad for the Club, a memory game with pictures of the dolls faces, a picture of a Kirsten with the worst hair I've ever seen and then how they made her look at the hospital.
Both my 8 & 10 year old were very interested in it- I think it's geared for the 8 year-old a little more- some of the games are really simple.
I'm curious if any one else got it. I'm wondering why we were chosen to get the free subscription- maybe because we're part of the AG Forum?

I received my AGT 25 today. The magazine was packed in with her. It must be random as my children are grown and I don't order from AG very often.

Sounds really neat, and I am sure DD would like it. I doubt we will get it however, I can't even get a catalog on time with regular mailing. I had to call again this time just to get a new catalog mailed to us.
I sent in that card they sent out a few months back, and I even called to make sure. Still having problems getting stuff in the mail from AG.

Oh wow...that sounds really cool. Does this remind anyone else of what AG magazine was like when it first came out? The magazine that's out right now is still fun to read, but it doesn't tie in with the dolls/characters anymore. Imagine magazine sounds like a !

Oh boy! I want one!!! Can anyone subscribe? Can you do it online? I always love to look at the Fan Gallery on the Fun for Girls page. It would be great to have more stuff like that in print! Sounds like another collection for this here packrat!

It sounds very cool, but more like an alternative-catalog type than a magazine. There's no thing online to subscribe with, it's arriving free in the mail... I'd still like it, though . I just wish it had more pages to be worth ordering if it is a real magazine.
I used to get AG magazine as a little girl, and I'm really depressed to see how much it's changed. For one thing, they have only about half the content they used to have! I loved all of the old features. They had one article about a girl living an unusual life, the "Guess Who I Am" article about a historical woman, the paper dolls, the Historical doll story, the craft section, the Help section, what else am I forgetting? Anyways, it was much better when it first started.

That sounds so neat--congratulations on getting chosen for a subscription! It could be that you and others receiving this are a "test market." If enough people send in the reply cards, they will know that there is an interest in such a magazine (and perhaps it might have a subscription cost for others).
I've been on a few free test markets before and sadly none of the magazines made it. So for those of you who get it, be sure to send the cards in . . . sending it in might be a "vote" for AG to continue with it . . . it sounds really fun!
